Welcome to Balance Moves Pilates Studio

Balance Moves is a boutique Pilates studio in the heart of Bondi Beach, in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

We specialise in private and group PilatesBarre classes, intensive courses and private sessions for individuals, duos and trios. The studio director, Renee Scott, began her career in a professional ballet background, and has been teaching the classical pilates method for over ten years. She is a 2nd generation Pilates instructor and trained under Joseph Pilates’ renowned disciple, Romana Kryzanowska, as well as Rael Iscowitz and Nora St. John.

Balance Moves was born from a desire to create a warm, community-based studio with a focus on quality education, individual attention and holistic wellbeing. All of our Pilates instructors are highly trained, and share a genuine passion for what they do. We also specialise in remedial massage. What makes us different, aside from our expert instructors and boutique classes, is how much we care. At Balance Moves, we really look after our clients and love being a part of their journey towards physical and emotional wellbeing. You’re not a number at our studio. We pride ourselves in getting to know our clients as individuals, who each have a very unique physicality and their own specific needs. We offer an extensive timetable and great value prices and new people are always welcome.

If you find yourself at a desk or on your feet all day, or if you simply want to increase your body awareness, get fit and de-stress, Pilates is the perfect way to re-centre and correct postural alignment, leaving the body calm, stretched and renewed. Barre classes are also great as they combine Pilates, Dance and Fitness to give you a full body workout. We help you move to find balance in your body and mind!

Balance Moves is also the home of Barre Attack, an Australian Barre Program combining Pilates, Dance and Fitness created by Renee and developed for Australian Instructors by BodyMaestro.  Barre Classes are being held in more and more locations around Australia so expect to see Barre Attack in many more places as Instructors complete the Barre Attack Teacher Training.
