Reformer Class
The Pilates Reformer classes in our Bondi Beach studio are small and focused with a maximum of 9 students. The reformer is a spring resistance machine that was created by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitation tool. During the class, you will use it for a variety of exercises to shape, strengthen and align the body. Itβs a great way to vary and extend your Pilates practice. Expect an athletic but accessible approach to contemporary and traditional Pilates reformer routines.
Pilates Mat Classes
Our Mat classes are strong and varied and use a range of Pilates props to deepen the intensity of your practice, it was created to connect the body and mind through a sequence of abdominal based exercises designed to support the body for daily life. Expect a flowing, well rounded, balanced and challenging workout.
Pilates Arc Classes
Our Arc classes use a lightweight foam arch that helps to increase spinal mobility and breath awareness. Traditionally called a spine corrector, an arc is a versatile tool that can be used for a total body stretch along with the ultimate abdominal workout.
Barre Attack Classes
Balance Moves is the home of Barre Attack. Created by Renee Scott, the owner of Balance Moves, BA is a unique combination of Ballet, Pilates, and fitness that will help improve your posture and balance, better your strength and flexibility and tone your body. It is a high intensity, low impact workout that is challenging yet very rewarding, it is known as the βsweaty barre workoutβ, it is designed for anyone and everyone to enjoy.
Core + Strength Classes
Founder of Bondiβs Balance Moves and Barre Attack, Renee Scott, developed this class specifically for those who want an intense workout to train their abdominals, pelvis, lower back, and hips. Core + Strength is a bridge between a Pilates Mat & a Barre Attack class.
With a focus on functional movement patterns, our Core + Strength classes will improve your balance, core, and foot stability through a combination of mat, standing, and full body exercises.
Prenatal and Postnatal Barre Classes
At Bondiβs Balance Moves Pilates and Barre we know that pregnancy and post pregnancy is a time that requires appropriate care and attention and we love to support and guide women through the safest exercise options to leave you feeling refreshed, energised and aligned.
