Pilates Instructors and Barre Instructors – Bondi

Renee Scott

Renee is the Founder & Director of Balance Moves. A former dancer with the Hamburg Ballet, she started Pilates to maintain her fitness and focus outside of dancing. She is a second generation Pilates Instructor and Trainer under Joseph Pilates‘ renowned disciple, Romana Kryzanowska.  Renee is also the Founder & Director of Barre Attack, Australia’s premier Barre Method. Caring and passionate Renee’s classes are challenging, inspiring, and tailored to the individual.

Vivian Dracakis

Vivian’s passion is Pilates. Vivian studied Physiotherapy, and was certified by both Polestar Education and Power Pilates in Miami. Upon returning to Australia from working in the USA, Viv has continued teaching and growing as an instructor in the industry. Her major goals are always to challenge, motivate, and inspire clients through the Pilates Method of movement.  Vivian believes that movement heals and she is excited to educate both the fitness community and rehabilitation clientele of Balance Moves Pilates Studio.

Margot McDonald

Margot has extensive experience in exercise rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, pregnancy and fitness. A love of movement and health led Margot to study Exercise and Sports Science at Sydney University and she also gained Pilates Mat and Studio Rehabilitation qualifications with Polestar Pilates International.  Margot has a unique and personable approach, ensuring every session is a positive movement experience, tailored to meet the specific goals of the client. Margot believes in the coordination and balance of the body, mind and spirit that can be achieved with Pilates.

Sophie Irvine

Sophie began Pilates as a student of Renee’s at Balance Moves in 2011. Renee saw great potential in Sophie, and referred her to Authentic Pilates Education for the comprehensive Teacher Training Course in 2012.  She has since completed her certification with APEA in Classical Pilates Method, under the guidance of teacher trainer Olga Tamara.  With her winning smile, Sophie will often be the first person you see or speak to at Balance Moves Pilates & Barre Studio.

Annie Robin

Annie originally started using Pilates on her own body after sustaining a serious injury to her spine as a dancer. She completed her Pilates Teacher Training in the UK and now teaches Pilates Mat in specialist health clubs and various corporate venues around Sydney.  As well as teaching Pilates, Annie has also completed her Level 1 and 2 Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Training. Annie brings her cheerful personality and enthusiasm to her Mat classes and focuses on ensuring that everyone gets a thorough workout whilst having fun.

Holly Gibellini-Davis

Holly’s enthusiasm is contagious! She adores what she does! Now back in Bondi after working in London on many projects including instructing for Move Your Frame (one of the top five fitness studios in London that regularly makes the pages of Sunday Style, Vogue and Elle UK), along with fronting an international campaign for the women’s sports brand ‘Sweaty Betty’, and movement assistance for Adidas.  Holly’s background is in dance, growing up a sequin plastered competition kid, her varied training now extends over twenty years making her workouts varied, fun and addictive.

Paddy Coary

Paddy has been involved in sports from a young age. He first became involved in Pilates as a client in 2009 when he was looking for a way to complement weight and cardio training. After being impressed with the effects of Pilates and the on field benefits through improved strength, flexibility and coordination Paddy decided to become a Pilates Instructor.  He was certified in Authentic Pilates under Olga Tamara in 2013.  Paddy has also completed workshops under, and was examined by renowned New York Pilates Trainers Simona Capriani and Brett Howard.

Carolina Delgardo-Dias

Carolina is an internationally qualified Reformer and Mat Pilates Teacher, after having taught in Australia, Germany, and Spain. She studied under renowned Pilates Educator Gideon Avrahami, who has been a huge influence on her Instructing.  One of the great attributes of Pilates for Carolina is that a program can be designed to suit anyone, irrespective of sex, age and fitness levels. Carolina is a strong believer in tailoring workouts to progressively deliver the many benefits that Pilates offers, as a stand-alone fitness program or as a supplement to a person’s specific training for other activities.

Jessica Guevara

Jessica’s striking nature and American accent might be the first things you’ll notice but her expertise and passion as a Pilates and Barre Attack instructor will ensure a strong power packed workout.  Known for her “come on, just another one” style quotes… you will definitely be back for more!

Sanja Ilic

Sanja with her passion for movement aims to inspire and challenge every client. Her background is in contemporary dance and competitive aerobics (both as a participant and as a teacher). Sanja taught her first class when she was 16, and starting coordinating dance groups at 18.  Since 2011, she has worked as a Fitness Specialist too, providing fitness programs to clients with injuries and different kinds of health conditions. Sanja strongly believes, that health and quality of life for each of us, could be significantly improved through exercises and some lifestyle modifications.
